robustness analysis of sEMG features for upper-limb dynamic movement classification under muscle fatigue a systematic study evaluating how surface EMG (sEMG) features generalize under muscle fatigue in upper-limb dynamic movement classification tasks. An RBF-kernel SVM was trained exclusively on non-fatigued data and tested across fatigue conditions to quantify performance degradation.
time-domain amplitude features (RMS, MAV, VAR, IEMG, WL) demonstrated strong robustness, while frequency-domain features (MF, MPF, Spectral Entropy) showed higher sensitivity to fatigue-induced spectral shifts.
